The National Automobile Olympiad (NAO) is a flagship initiative by the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) in collaboration with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), aimed at fostering early engagement with school students from Class 6 to 12 and cultivating their interest in the dynamic world of mobility and automotive technology. This Olympiad serves as a platform to not only spark curiosity but also to educate and inspire young minds about the vast opportunities within the automobile industry.
By participating in NAO, students are introduced to a wide spectrum of emerging technologies and career pathways in fields such as automotive design, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), mechatronics, data analytics, 3D printing, electric vehicles (EVs), and sustainable mobility solutions. The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between traditional education and real-world industry trends, empowering students with the knowledge and awareness needed to explore future-ready careers.
The competition is open for students of class 6 - 12 across all education boards
There is no age restriction for the students in the above classes
The medium of instructions will be in English & Hindi
30 Multiple Choice Questions with a time frame of 30 minutes
Candidates who successfully clear the Qualifying Round will advance to the Regional Round.
Participants qualifying from the Regional Round will proceed to the Final Round.
One of the most impactful elements of the National Automobile Olympiad (NAO) is the Industry Session, where students interact directly with distinguished professionals from the automotive sector.
